Caramelise onions in ghee until golden brown

Add biryani spices (cardamom, cumin, cloves, bay leaf, cinnamon) and tomato, cook 3 min

Add marinated chicken pieces, sear until sealed

Add soaked basmati rice and stock/water, season with salt

Cover and cook on low heat 20-25 min until rice is fully cooked
